About Us
Jewish Education Leadership Institute (JELI)
Mission: Strengthening and expanding Jewish Day Schools and Yeshivot is the background of Jewish survival and of a meaningful Jewish existence. The caliber of these educational systems, the strength of its leadership and the quality of its teachers and administration will vastly impact future generations of Jewish children and young adults. We owe it to our children and our grandchildren to fortify our day school with strong, visionary and well-trained professionals, which in turn will set the standard for excellence in education.
The Jewish Education Leadership Institute was established to develop professional training programs for future day school principals, administrators, executive directors, academic department chairmen and directors of development as well as to improve the skills of our teachers. Our goals are to energize the day school system by providing our future leadership with tools to bring a heightened level of professionalism and expertise in and out of the classroom to ensure the future success of the day school system.
